Ep 065: Why Is God Making Me Wait?

May 4, 2026    Michael Moos, Jesse Hailey, McKenzie Banks

Why does God make us wait, especially when we are praying, trusting Him, and trying to do the right thing? Waiting seasons can feel confusing, discouraging, and even lonely.

In this episode, we talk about why God allows seasons of waiting and what we see throughout Scripture in the lives of people like Abraham, David, and Joseph. We explore what God may be doing beneath the surface when it feels like nothing is happening and how waiting often shapes our character, trust, and dependence on Him.

We also address the real questions people wrestle with in these seasons, like wondering if they did something wrong, missed God’s will, or are being overlooked. We talk about the temptations that come with waiting, including taking control, settling, comparison, and losing hope, and how to fight those struggles in a healthy, biblical way.

This conversation is about learning how to wait well, remain faithful in the middle of uncertainty, and trust God’s timing even when it does not make sense.

Topics discussed: waiting on God, trusting God’s timing, faith, patience, comparison, discouragement, spiritual growth.
