Ep 090: How do I Handle a Heavy Load?
School. Work. Sports. Church. Friends. Family. Relationships. Homework. Deadlines. Future plans. And somehow you're also supposed to sleep, take care of yourself, and have a relationship with God.
What do you do when it feels like you have WAY too much going on?
In this episode, we're talking about how Christians can handle a full load without constantly feeling overwhelmed. We look at people in the Bible who carried major responsibilities and what we can learn from the way they handled them.
We also get really practical. How do you prioritize when everything feels important? When do you need to say no? What should never be the first thing you cut when life gets busy? How do you stop procrastinating? And how can you tell the difference between a season where you need to buckle down and work hard versus one where you're simply carrying more than God ever asked you to?
Being busy isn't necessarily bad, and having a lot of responsibility can be a good thing. But we don't want to become so consumed with everything we have to do that we neglect the One we're supposed to be doing it all for.
If you're a high school or college student staring at an overflowing calendar right now, this one's especially for you.
